Pod Nurse (CMA/LPN/RN)

Harlan Rural Health Clinic. Full-time position (36-hours per week). Works four days per week; 7:30 am to 5:30 pm; plus Saturday rotation. Is of prime importance in helping the medical provider respond successfully to the increasing demands for his/her services and will practice within the scope of licensure. Is the essential link between the medical provider and his/her patients, professional associates, and equipment and medical suppliers. Delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assists in the patient teaching activities and maintains the standards of a professional nurse. Performs various laboratory and radiologic procedures and is responsible for the documentation of these. No clinical experience as a pre-requisite other than during the formal education process is required. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing program possessing a current Iowa Nursing license or be a graduate of medical assistant training – possessing certification. Must either be certified in CPR or obtain certification during the first three months of employment.
