Public Health. Full-time position (40 hours per week). Works Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Some weekends and evenings required. Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct quality patient care. Provides leadership when working with team members in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice. Promotes health and wellness through education, clinical practice, and home care for the ill and disabled. Experience in nursing preferred. Utilizes and builds upon knowledge acquired through formal education; takes responsibility for pursuit of continuing education; understands and utilizes the nursing process. Must be a graduate from an approved Professional Nursing program. Current Iowa license as Registered Professional Nurse required. Must possess valid Iowa driver’s license and maintain auto liability insurance. Certification in Basic Life Support is required.
