Perioperative Department. On-call position. Schedule varies based on department needs. RN utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct quality patient care in the Perioperative setting. Directs and provides patient/family teaching. Provides leadership when working with health team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) performs a variety of perioperative duties with limited direct patient care during the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases under the direct supervision of an RN. RN – must be a graduate from an approved Professional Nursing program. Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Iowa. Scrub Tech – Must have certification of Surgical Technology. Certification in Basic Life Support is required within three months of the date of hire.
