Information Systems Department. Full-time exempt position (40 hours per week). Reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and oversees the Information system (IS) Department, systems and security, and also collaborates closely with other departments to understand requirements, needs, and preferences and will implement and support these systems accordingly. Regularly scans and evaluates the organization’s current systems to find any risks, vulnerabilities and improvement opportunities. Provides leadership in planning and managing all computer and technology related services and production support, systems and database administration, network operations, interfaces, systems maintenance and recovery, back-up, security, new system implementations, desktop support and customer services across the health system. Will lead staff in a manner that is consistent with MMC’s core values and will create an environment of trust, high performance and continuous improvement. Strong interpersonal communication skills, computer hardware assembly and maintenance, software installation, training and maintenance, computer/network equipment evaluation and acquisition skills, network installation and maintenance skills, system analysis and programming skills desirable. Three years’ experience in healthcare Information Systems management is strongly preferred, but experience in a service industry will be considered. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer information systems, or related field required.
