Laboratory Department. Full-time position (36 hours per week). Works Sunday-Saturday four 9-hour shifts between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm. Performs various waived or moderate complexity testing in hematology, coagulation, chemistry, microbiology, blood banking, immunology, and urinalysis. Receives or obtains specimens for laboratory analysis and prepares specimens for reference laboratory. Responsible for specimen processing, test performance, and reporting of results. Assists in the clerical duties of the lab and assists the medical technologists. Completion of high school or equivalent preferred and documentation of training appropriate for the testing performed prior to analyzing patient specimens. Basic computer knowledge preferred.
