Marketing Intern

Marketing Department. 24 hours per week – flexible schedule. Works Monday through Friday. Coordinates and implements the marketing and advertising plans for Medical Center. Provides support to the Director of Marketing in promoting the image of Myrtue Medical Center. Responsible for social media management and design of content. Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all promotional materials. Maintains files for marketing materials. Evaluates existing advertising and creates new ads. Writes and disseminates news releases and writes for hospital publications including brochures, newsletters, flyers, etc. Oversees electronic marketing efforts including website design, content, and maintenance. Undertakes a range of ongoing and ad hoc activities and assigned projects including but not limited to marketing team support, design, layout, etc. Junior standing at a higher education institution. Knowledge of media relations. Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills. Time management and problem-solving skills. Computer literacy, with demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office and Creative Adobe Suites. High school diploma or pursuing college degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent required.
