Food Service Worker

Dietary Department. One part-time position – Cafeteria and Salad Maker (32 hours per week). Works four eight-hour shifts with times ranging between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm. Works every third weekend 9:30 am to 7:00 pm; rotates holidays. Performs a variety of food service tasks to ensure deliverance of meals/food for patients, cafeteria, and special meetings throughout the health system. Variety of duties including but not limited to operating the dish machine; sets up cafeteria for breaks and meals; serves customers; runs cash register; washes dishes, pots, and pans; stocks supplies; cleans; delivers patient trays to floor; and general duties as assigned. One year food service experience is desirable, but not required. Must have a general knowledge of cooking and using kitchen machines and equipment. Completion of high school or equivalent preferred. Will accept current high school students.
