Food Service Worker

Dietary Department. On-call position averaging 12 hours per week, schedule will vary. Position requires two or three 3-hour shifts 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm per week; 8-hour shift every sixth weekend with the possibility of changing to every third weekend, hours between 6:00 am and 7:30 pm. Occasional holiday shifts as needed. Performs a variety of food service tasks to ensure deliverance of meals/food for patients, cafeteria, and special meetings throughout the health system. Variety of duties including but not limited to operating the dish machine. Sets up cafeteria for breaks and meals; serves customers; runs cash register; washes dishes, pots and pans; stocks supplies; cleans; delivers patient trays to floor; general duties as assigned. One year food service experience is desirable, but not required. Must have a general knowledge of cooking and using kitchen machines and equipment. Completion of high school or equivalent preferred.
