Medical/Surgical Department. Multiple positions available. Full-time days (7:00 am to 7:00 pm); as well as multiple on-call positions (work 12-hours per month plus 1 holiday per year); weekend/holiday rotation required. Assists the professional nursing staff in providing quality patient care. Is responsible for performing a variety of patient care activities including, but not limited to ADL’s, assessments, documentation, etc, and related health care functions under the direct supervision of an RN or LPN. Reports to the Medical/Surgical Nurse Manager. Completion of an approved 75-hour Nursing Assistant course and/or successful completion of Nursing Assistant Certification written and skills tests or completion of one year of an approved Practical Nursing program or Professional Nurse program required.
