Anesthesia Department. Full-time position available. Works 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Myrtue Medical Center is seeking a CRNA for three-person Anesthesia Department. Schedule is two weeks on / one week off, plus call every third week, for a total of 17 weeks off per year. Call back arrival must be within 30 minutes. Cases primarily consist of outpatient pediatric to older adults. General surgery/abdominal procedures, scopes, OB/GYN, ortho, ENT, urology/gynecology, podiatry, and cataracts are common. Must be certified with DEA, Iowa Controlled Substance, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Must perform Ultrasound Blocks, spinals, epidurals. Previous CRNA experience required. Must have knowledge of medicine CRNA education and training to provide and evaluate anesthesia care. Must possess knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer patient care, medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care in a safe work environment. Eligibility to provide services under Medicare and Medicaid programs, managed care networks and other payer programs required. Must respond to emergencies while maintaining a professional and calm composure.

Registered Nurse

Cardiac Rehab Department. Part-time position (18 hours per week). Hours vary between 6:45am and 4:00pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct quality patient care in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic. Directs and provides patient/family teaching. Provides leadership when working with health team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Must be a graduate from an approved Professional Registered Nursing program. Certification in Basic Life Support is required within 3 months of date of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required. Utilizes and builds upon knowledge acquired through formal education.
