Behavioral Health Department. Full-time position (40 hours per week). Works Monday through Friday. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for patient recovery. Performs a variety of patient care and departmental activities directly related to the Community Support Services (CSS) programs which include but are not limited to: BHIS (Behavioral Health Intervention Service), IPR (Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation), and SCL (Supportive Community Living); provides on-call services in rotation with other Behavioral Health practitioners; documentation; data entry; case management; provides support to Behavioral Health Operations Coordinator, Behavioral Health Director, and practitioners. Previous Human Service(s) experience required. Utilizes and builds upon knowledge acquired through formal education; possesses technical skills and knowledge of screening/assessment mechanisms and data analysis/entry necessary to comply with program expectations. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services (psychology, sociology, counseling, social work, criminal justice, etc) with one year Human Services experience preferred.
Outpatient Specialty Clinic. On-call position. Works various days Monday through Friday, dependent on departmental needs. Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct quality patient care in the Outpatient Clinic setting. Directs and provides patient/family teaching. Provides leadership when working with health team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Must be a graduate from an approved Professional Nursing program. Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Iowa. Certification in Basic Life Support is required within 3 months of date of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required. Utilizes and builds upon knowledge acquired through formal education.
Behavioral Health Department. Full-time position (40 hours per week). Works Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with possibility of working some later evening hours with half- or whole-day off. Serves as an active participant in the clinical programs of the department, including both direct treatment of outpatients, performance of evaluation activities, provides emergency services, and consultation and education. Experience of two years or equivalent or field experience in a similar setting during educational process. Must be eligible to be licensed in the State of Iowa to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Provider. Interns, new graduates, and candidates with Provisional license will be considered. A Master’s degree in a Human Services field such as Counseling, Social Work, or other mental health related field required.
Environmental Services. Full-time position (40 hours per week). Works various days Sunday through Saturday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Flexibility needed. Weekend rotation included. Assumes responsibility for supervising the overall cleaning of patient rooms, work areas and public areas according to standards of the hospital; as well as oversee supervision of the laundry area. Responsible to ensure successful completion of the work on a regular basis to result in a clean, safe, and attractive environment which is conducive to the recovery of ill patients and contributes positively to staff morale and the public relations of the hospital. At least 2-3 years of housekeeping experience preferred. At least one year of management or supervisor experience preferred. Must know how to use common house cleaning devices and be able to operate cleaning equipment. Must be knowledgeable of proper cleaning solutions. Must be alert to hazards and safety. Completion of high school or equivalent preferred.
